I went to the gym this morning and did 35 mins on the treadmill with 20 mins of abs and lower body strength training.  I was talking to a trainer yesterday who was telling me I might be able to get my weight loss started again if I increase my cardio to a minimum of 60 mins a day.  I will try that, but, I will have to do the other 25 to 30 mins at another time during the day.  I'm already pushing it in the mornings.  I certainly can't get up any early than 4:30 am! Hopefully, it will be a little better at work today.  We do not have all 3000 mailboxes restored though, so I am sure I will be taking a lot of calls and may not be able to come back to this web page today. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Good morning,  Well i am glad to see that your doing better today. I think that your trainer is right I was told to remain on cardio only for a little while longer to maximize my weightloss. I have now incorporated some weights into my program but only 2 days per week. if you have to breakup the work that is even better becasue your body just keep on burning those calories. Let me know how it goes.  Well today i did 25 min on the treadmill and 35 min on the elliptical trainer and feeling fine. Hope everyone has a great workout today. Lorraine

Lorraine, I think we need to keep trying something different from time to time to shock our bodies into knowing we still got some weight to lose!  So, whatever it takes, right? Lori

Hi Lori, I don't usually post here, but I have been moving my body every evening. Last nite 35 minutes on my stationary bike. Today I will do the same or maybe alittle longer. Hope you have a better day. Lynn

15 minutes on the eliptical 30 minutes on the recumbant bike I did the recumbant because yesterday I walked out of another pair of shoes and I twisted my ankle....again. I don't think it is sprang but it has this aching feeling. Anyway, I thought that the recumbant bike was going to be easy. WRONG!!!By time I was finish, my shirt was soaking wet. I was sweating and my inner thighs were killing me. I might have to work that into my schedule.

You can definately get a great workout on the recumbant bike! I was the sprained ankle queen for so long.  I'm happy to tell you that my ankles have gotten stronger and it has been quite awhile since I've had that injury....speedy healing to you! Lori

Hi Lori - Hopefully your day at work went well, and you were able to get more restored. I went to the pool, but had to leave 10 minutes early because I had an appointment at 10:30.  So 50 minutes of water aerobics instead.  I was hoping to get back to the gym, but that didn't happen.  I did spend 1 hr working in my garden, which I guess is a form of exercise. I am excited because I weighed today, and I only have 1.4lbs to be below 300.  I'm pretty excited about that! Hope things will be better for you tomorrow!
