Hi Lori, had to stop in and tell you that I have been walking around three miles a day.  And that I am going to take an assessement friday to see about returning to work.   I havent lost no weight hardly in months thought. But I have went down two pants sizes. I guess the weight lose will pick back up when the body catches up. I hope anyway. hugs.

Marie, 3 miles a day is so fantastic!!!  Did you ever think you'd get there?  This plateau business can be maddening...it sure is for me.  We just got to keep taking care of ourselves....

I thought I'd actually wait and post after I exercised rather than recap the next day. I did six minutes on the treadmill, 20 minutes on the armbike (hilly terrain program, level 3) and 10 minutes reverse armbike (hilly terrain level 1).  I started using level 3 yesterday and my arms really felt it today, so I had to force myself to keep going. When does the exercise start to show a benefit?  I've only been doing this for 11 days, so I'm not expecting miracles, but I hope some results are forthcoming.   There's no way I can do 60 minutes of cardio yet!  Kix

Kix, I am going to physical therapy for "tennis elbow".  Along with a bunch of other stuff they are having me do the armbike as well.  That thing is a workout!!! Exercise takes quite awhile to show a benefit.  I noticed how much better I felt after about 3 months of consistent exercise.  I know that is awhile, but, it is so worth it! You are doing so great!!!!! Lori
