Did not make it to the gym this morning.  I have a 1 hour walk planned for tonight with friends.  So that will be it for me today. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hey there Lori,  Well today is day 5 of my workout change and when I got on the scale this morning I was down another 3 pounds thats 6 pounds in to weeks. I will take it anyway I can get it. So with me changing the way I was eating, increase of protien and increase of water I would say I am doing pretty good. Only 11 pounds to go to be under 300.  Today I did the elliptical for 25 min, teadmill 25 min and some weights. I feel great I think I am going to go tomorrow and just do 30 min of cardio just to give me that added boost for weightloss. Sunday i am going to relax there will be no talk of exercise at all. :) Lorraine

We went to the rec center as soon as it opened this morning -- well, we were five minutes late and almost all the machines were occupied by seniors!  The older folks really put me to shame, that's for sure.  One fellow was walking at 8.5 on the treadmill, on an incline, and did so the entire hour we were there.   I did 7 minutes on the treadmill at nowhere near 8.5 (1.6 is more like it), 20 minutes of Poconos-type hilly terrain (level 3) on the armbike, and 15 minutes of random terrain (level 2) reverse arm bike.  After last night, my arms weren't up to trying the Matterhorn again!  Or, as the locals call the very tall mountains around here, "14ers" (14,000 ft elevation peak). I dislike exercising first thing in the morning -- not sure why.  Maybe it's because I'm not really a morning person.  I'd rather exercise midday or midafternoon.

I'm very late in posting, but wanted to chime in anyway.  On Friday, I lifted weights for upper and lower body at lunchtime, then did 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer after work.   Kellie
