Hi Everybody, I posted this earlier and I must have deleted it on accident.  Anyways, My family and I just got back from 4 nights at the Disneyland Hotel, and 3 full days at Disneyland/California Adventure.  I was able to walk all over creation and go on as many rides as I cared to..and I FIT !!!  I would NOT however, go on that California Screamin' Roller-coaster..even though my kids thought that I was a wimp!  I can't tell ya that I was leading the pack the entire time..but I kept up with everybody.  My feet ached like crazy, but I kept plugging along.   I usually look to the positive side of things..but I can't help but feel sad about the many years I lived as a spectator in my own life.  I would had never attempted an adventure like this weighing 343 pounds.  Thanks for all the support you guys have always given to me! Hugs and Smiles Ginger

Hi Tulip lover, Thanks for your responce!  Those simple WOW moments are the ones I love the best!  I remember the first time I "dared" go to a movie theater.  I went on a week-night as to not be as embarassed if I couldn't fit.  Even though my family were so encourageing..I couldn't get my mind wrapped around the idea that my bottom could actually fit in a movie theater seat...Your time is coming soon!!! Hugs, Ginger

Hi Kira, Your surgery date is just around the corner!  I'm so happy for you!!  Believe me, I never dreamed of doing things like this before surgery.  I hear that Disneyland at Christmas is the greatest experience ever!  You will be well on your way to skinnyland before you get to Disneyland this Christmas.  I wish you an uneventful surgery and quick recovery Hugs, Ginger

Ginger, That is sooo awesome, that is one of my major goals, but I am still unsure if I am ready yet.  I am thinking by the end of this summer I should be ready. I have always loved Disneyland I haven't been since I was 17.. so long ago.. you have given me hope.. Thanks  Lynn

Hi Lynn, I felt so good about not holding anybody back.  My two sons have had quite a few opportunities to go to Disneyland "turn-around trips" through school...but they both told me that this was their very favorite time at Disneyland..made my heart feel good that I could be part of it.  It was tiring.  I had to remiind myself that even though I lost weight and had more energy...I still had gotten older and was not "Wonderwoman" Nevertheless it ROCKED!
