MONDAY WEIGH IN!
I'm on a "road trip" with my daughters and best friend, so I couldn't weigh today. I did weigh before I left my home yesterday, so I'll go with that.
Here is my info:
Highest Weight 384 October 2003
Surgery Referral Weight 368 Feb. 8, 2006
Kaiser Options Class Wt. 375 June 14, 2006
Consult Weight: 351 December 7, 2006
Surgery Weight - 343.8 Jan. 31, 07
Last Week: 304
Today: 298.4
YAY! I love that I'm below 300.
We are on our way to Seattle for a concert. My dd turned 18 today, and she was out of the country until Sat. night., and wanted to see this band. We are having fun, and I'm learning how to eat on the road.
Before I list my weight loss I have to preface it with a couple of things. First, I was sick all week and my appetite was minimal. Second, my lay-off became official this week and my stomach is not handling it very well. Food has not been my friend this week, I just can't seem to eat very much. I'm hoping this week is better - I went back to eating soft foods in hopes that I can eat and not feel sick. Lots of sugar free pudding in my fridge.
So, because of last week I lost a lot, more than I thought I would. Normally I would love it, but this time I'm not thrilled. I'm tired and stressed and know I need to eat more than I have been. If I could just get over this bronchitis then I could work out again and I think that would help.
surgery/beginning weight: 371
last weeks weight: 247
this week's weight: 238
That's 9 pounds of pure stress. Amazing how before when I was stressed I would immediately go for the candy. Now, I can't even handle the thought of food.
Good grief, you're still sick?! Do I need to come over there with vials of protein and antibiotics from the stashes I've accumulated due to Blobby? If I had known you were still sick, we'd have made a house call when we were over on your side of town yesterday. My sibling's bedside manner is so non-nuturing that you'd recover at once just to be free of her "caregiving."
I command you to get well immediately! Seriously, get well. I did soft foods for a couple of days after the broccoli kicked me to the curb, and it helped a lot. I'm back to normal -- well, what is normal for me, anyway.
Are you staying hydrated, at least?
Holler if you need anything, I'll figure out a way to get to you.

Go Marge!!! Go Marge!!! I am so proud of you keep up the good work. maybe one of these days I will meet you there in onderland.
Ok so I have notice that there really is something about protien and weight loss. For the past 2 week I have started drinking my protien shakes and the weight loss has start to move again. So I am pleased to report that I have lost 4 pounds this week can you believe it??? I am still in shock myself. I think the week prior to this I lost 3 pounds. Now I will be honest and say I have been exercising more than I ever have in my life I was going to the gym 4 days per week and now I am up to 6 and all of what I am doing is paying off on that scale. Thank you Marge for being so faithful to this weighin because it helps a lot of us keep on track. We all luv ya girl. God bless.

It has been rough, became a bad case of bronchitis that I just can't get rid of. I'm heading to the Dr. again tomorrow and we'll see what they can do. I'm suppose to be on vacation next week and I don't want to be coughing a lung up everytime I walk!
