Well, I didn't get up for the gym this morning AGAIN!  I don't know what my problem is.  I really prefer getting the exercise done before work, because I find it difficult to get there after work too.  OK guys, kick me in the pants will ya! Hopefully, you moved your body today with less trouble than me! Lori

Hi Lori,  Well I didn't get up this morning for the gym either. I feel bad but I have been working my butt off so I slept in... of course I had a good reason Lorraine

Class was cancelled tonight, woo hoo!!!! 65 minute cardio/weight circuit class (Get Ripped 1000). (Edited to clarify that it was college class that was cancelled - not exercise class)

Went to the rec center late again tonight.  Between spring break and bad weather, the place was practically deserted. I changed up my routine just a bit.  I did 10 minutes on the treadmill walking at a snail's pace (at least when compared to other treadmill users), then did 12 minutes of forward armbike and 12 minutes of reverse armbike (Matterhorn terrain, levels 3 and 2). My knees were a bit sore at the end of today's treadmill work, but I think it might be from the cold weather.  They creaked a lot!  Kix

Hey, Tracy! The Matterhorn is a 14,000+ ft peak in the Swiss Alps.  I call the armbike terrain "Matterhorn" because it's the equivalent of pedaling straight up (and straight down) a very steep mountain. Here in Colorado, they call 'em "14ers."  People here love to hike 14ers, but I don't see me actually hiking one anytime soon since I am not a mountain goat!  There is also a ride at Disneyland called the Matterhorn, but this armbike exercise certainly isn't a ride at Disneyland!  How is school going?   Kix

Thanks, Kix.  Gee, you must be developing some serious arm and shoulder muscle tone!

Hi, Lori!  Thursday's exercise was not up to my usual - just did a short walk at lunch (10 minutes), then another short walk when I got home in the evening (probably 10-15 minutes).  I was planning to do an hour in the evening, but my legs started to feel funny and I didn't want to get too far away from home.  I've been doing some new exercises from my physical therapist, so think that may have been what was up with my legs.  Anyway, everything seems fine this morning, so I'll go to the gym after work today.   Thanks for keeping the gym open - it's appreciated! Kellie
