My last post I must of forgot to say I already have a appointment for monday at 2 for another phych evaluation. I am staying on top of this.                                                  Annie PS about our squirrel we released a couple of weeks ago well he comes home every night to sleep in his hamock. I also got blessed with a pecan in my hair. I always smile when taking my hair down and nuts fall out.

Hi Annie Sweetie! Your squirrel stories just crack me up!  Is the squirrel's hamock outside?? I'm picturing your yard as being some kind of resort for all kinds of woodland creatures.   I'm so sorry you have another delay with that phych eval.  I never could figure out how visiting with a shrink could determine if you can "handle" life after wls.  Anyways, glad you got right on this matter and are doing whatever it takes..you are a determined gal for sure!!! Take care and watch for falling pecans!!!! Hugs and Smiles, Ginger

I was told that the reason for the evaluation is to see if you could mentally handle losing your best friend food. It would be like the day of surgery being the funeral and everytime you eat is a constant reminder of what you don't have in your life anymore. Those who already suffer from depression this can be devastating. Those who don't suffer from depression could start. I believe they want to make sure you survivie the surgery mentally and physically.
