It is a VERY GOOD Friday!!

Just wanted to share as of this morning I have met my first HUGE goal that I wanted to accomplish - I wanted to loose 150 pounds before leaving for Europe on the 18th of this month, and I've DONE IT!!! 150 pounds gone forever baby!! Whoo Hooo I am one happy camper!!!

Congratulations Jandell!  The 18th is 12 days away. You will be way pass that on the 18th

These last few pounds have come off very slowly, I'm just so happy to have made it this far, every thing else will be an added blessing! Thanks so much!

Congratulations Jan!  You will enjoy Europe so much more with 150 lbs gone!  I went to Holland and Sweden in 2002.  I weighed about 365 then.  I had a heck of a time getting around.  Europeans walk and ride trains everywhere.  I was in Sweden last December with 150 lbs gone and I was leading the pack.  People were having trouble keeping up with me.  How fantastic! Thanks Lori! The last time we were in Holland visiting family I was over 325 that was in 2002.  Walking was something I didn't do, in fact I stayed home while everyone walked into town. I'm so looking forward to this trip!  We're touring Ireland for 9 days and then Holland, with visits to Germany and Belgium for the last five. The family has no clue that I had surgery or have lost any weight. Hubby can't wait to see their reactions! I'm excited about fitting so much better in the plane along with everything else!

Jan, My family in Sweden did not know about my weight loss either.  I was expecting a big reaction, but, instead I had a very subdued one.  I'm not sure if Europeans think it rude to make an issue out of it or not.  Don't be disappointed, if you get the same reaction I did.  They are still very happy for us!
