Gym Is Open (Friday)
I decided to do my 45 minutes of walking on the track at the gym today. I then did about 20 mins of lower body strength training and spent a lot of extra time stretching as I really feel stiff right now. It is very beautiful so I plan on taking a walk later today outside.
What did you do to move your body today?

Hello Lori,
Well today i really worked myself alot. I did about 35 on elliptical and 35 on the treadmill. Now the one thing that was special to me is that I was able to walk on the treadmill for 35 min my knee would give out on me before. I was just walking and claping enjoying the music that was playing. I also had the incline set around 7 then i was feeling a little like a challenge and pushed it up to 10 wow was that something. I was sweating so bad my whole shirt was wet.
Easter is only a couple of days away so I figure I better put in extra time to make sure this is the first Easter I don't gain any weight. I have bought plenty of treats for the kids so I know jelly beans are on my list. Well I will do the same workout tomorrow but I won't have time to post I will talk to ya soon.

I wasn't feeling well when I went to bed last night - chills, feverish, body aches, etc. This morning, I really didn't want to get up, so I missed my water class. I did go into the gym with my daughter. I did 10 min on the elliptical - thought I was going to die, then 10 min on the recumbant bike, 15 min on the stationary bike and about 15 minutes on the weight training machine circuit. I know why I like the pool so much -- you don't sweat in the pool, but you get your heart rate up. You are constantly cooled down by the water and I like that. I don't like the hot sweaty feeling of being in the gym. Guess I need to get used to that for the days I don't swim.
Here I am, posting late again.
We went to the rec center this evening, and it wasn't too crowded. The weather is quite cold (meanwhile, PJ is enjoying nice, toasty warm weather in Texas), and the roads are a bit icy, so I think some people opted to stay home.
I only did 10 minutes of treadmill tonight because my knees are sore from the cold weather, but I did 30 minutes of armbike. Happily, I didn't have to figure out how to adjust the seat, someone else had already done so!
I think I ate too much protein today. I had a piece of liver for lunch and a pork chop for dinner. All that meat is lodged in my aorta. I don't usually have problems with either one, I think it's eating both in one day that is making feel like I have eaten enough to tide me over until June.
I don't feel ill, just extremely full.
Tomorrow is our early day at the rec center (groan!), then errands, then time to come home and repack the stuff in the garage so there is room for two cars. My sibling plans to get her new car on Wednesday.
