Hi Julie,  falls are the WORST.  I hope you are feeling better physically and emotionally.  It's just really, really bad especially for SMO people.  I am a total klutz and could write an entire book of embarassig tales.  Sometimes, I can look back and laugh while other times, I look back and get pissed all over again. One of the ones I can laugh about was when I was in community college about 17 or 18 years ago and I was, of course, SMO.  I crammed myself into the chair, which was clearly designed for someone half my size.  Anyway, part of the way through the class I heard a horrifying, gut wrenching, heart stopping crack followed by the sound of metal twisting and suddenly I was looking up at the ceiling.  YUP, I totally demolished the METAL chair.  Good Lord, I could see if it was wicker or plastic but metal, geezaloo!!!!!  Remember that scene in Shallow Hal - yes, it CAN happen.  Anyway, the teacher, a tiny, tiny woman, started to scream and clutch her chest while about a dozen college guys pryed my rump from the twisted remains of the chair.  Oh yeah, I was wearing a dress.  Nice.  Once they finally got my on my feet, the teacher had the audacity to say in front of everyone "Oh my goodness, don't you ever do that again!"  I was like "ummmm... okay?" Anyway, it has happened to all of us at one time or another.  Hang in there! Hugs, Tracy

Jesus is so good to me;  I couldn't ask for a better friend, protector, leader, savior!

Oh girl I have had two or three chairs break on me!   One was quite nice...it was a plastic lawn chair and I was at a party FULL of people that my partner worked with.  The chair was sitting at a funny angle half on concrete and half on dirt and the combo of my weight and the angle broke the leg right out from under me and sent white plastic flying, as if it wasnt bad enough, an hour or so later I saw a piece of the broken plastic floating around in the pool! I do love that your teacher told you not to do that again....as if maybe you purposely broke a desk and fell in front of everyone ON PURPOSE.  Lovely.
