Gym Is Open (Tuesday)
Hi, Lori. I'm cranky and hormonal today, and didn't want to do a darn thing. But I had one of my good friends here at work "order" me to go to the gym at lunch time, so I did. I lifted weights for upper and lower body, then stretched for about 10 minutes. I did feel better when I was done. Although I'm still cranky and hormonal, I'm planning to go back to the gym after work for 35-40 minutes on the elliptical trainer for cardio.
I'm working hard to get myself back in the groove of doing cardio 5x per week and lifting weights 2x per week. I got off track last month because of some personal issues, and it's hard to get myself back on track.
Anyway, thanks for keeping the gym open - I appreciate it.

Hi Lori, I had to stop in and tell you. That I have been riding a bike. From a walker to a bike in a little over two yrs. Isnt that just neat. It is so hard to beleive that two yrs ago I had back surgery , weighed 320 pds and was verly walking with a walker. Thank everyone for all the help and support I get. rode it twice today. . thanks for all the help...

You have come such a long way!!! I'm thinking of buying a bike. I've been self conscious about it, I really wanted to get under 200 lbs before I did it...but, since that seems so elusive...I'm thinking of doing it soon.
