I am glad the scale is moving again for you. It has started moving for me as well. Thank GOD!! I was really starting to get depressed about it. I am now 18 lbs from losing 100 lbs. Its kinda exciting. It is also strange. I thought I would look so different if I lost 100 lbs. But I can tell that I have lost weight but I don't SEE that big of a difference. I think I look the same. BUT I feel 100% better and that's a great feeling.

Congratulations Marge! I'm still getting over a nasty sinus infection, but did a bunch of errands on Saturday, Sunday I rested. I'm still jetlagged, wake up at 4:00 AM, and want to fall asleep by 8:00 PM.

Hi Marge, My weekend was a drag my husbands daddy had a massive stroke, he lives in Mexico so DH had to fly down there. I feel so bad for him. So I just hung around and waited for the phone to ring. I am so glad the scale started moving for you again, it did for me as well. So here goes the numbers Beginning weight 473 Surgery weight 417 Last week 204 This week 201 Have a great week Lynn
Marge:
OMG, 95 degrees already?! I'm having flashbacks to my duty station in Tallahassee. I was there a year, and I think I spent the entire year sweaty.
We had heavy rain all weekend on my side of Denver. I'm not sure if PJ caught any of it. I'm not complaining, though -- just up the road, folks had a foot of snow. I'll take buckets of rain any day.
I dogsat the neighbor's dog all weekend. She's a red heeler (cattle dog) and sheds like crazy. I like petting her, but I was sick of getting pounds of hair all over the place every time I did so. Our two dogs were mighty relieved when she went home yesterday.
WTG on the weight loss! At the rate you are going, you really will be the stick figure who dances
I had a good loss this week, not as impressive as yours or Jandell's, but still a good one:
Beginning weight: 530
Surgery weight: 407
Last week: 269
This week: 265
It cracks me up, realizing I'm almost in the mid 200s now. It's hard to believe that as of today, I am half the Kix I used to be. I weigh 265, and have lost 265 since 2/06. Woohoo!

Believe it or not, I was in Colorado Springs this weekend, where it SNOWED!!! 10 inches! My mom and I couldn't believe it, we just stood at the window with our mouths wide open.
I think I'm just a bit worn out from this late winter weather! Although I will say this, it certainly is green! I went way out east on 70 today to see a friend who had surgery and it was absolutely gorgeous, green and wild flowers everywhere.
How's that leg of yours today? Better?
Way to go, Marge!!! You're my inspiration to stick with it - we had surgery around the same time and started off around the same weight. So while I'm a little behind you in terms of pounds lost, your lower numbers help remind me that it can be done. Here's my numbers for the week -
Beginning weight: 396
Surgery weight: 386
Last week: 215
Today: 208.08
This past week, I cut back on calories and carbs, upped the protein a bit, drank more water, and stuck with my exercise routine. That's what's responsible for the lower number on the scale. I'm committed to following the same plan this week; I can almost smell and taste Onederland!
