Stumbled In

Hi everyone! My name is Mindy. I normally stay on my surgeon’s sight, but today we are having trouble with it. So it forced me to reach out a lil LOL. I have looked over the place and I think I will like it here.

Just a lil about me…I am 30, married to a 12 year Marine SSGT. We have been together for 13 years and have to 2 kids. We live in Florida as of right now, but we will always call Illinois home.

I am, as of now, awaiting a date for RNY. I have completed all requirements and I am told my insurance, Tricare, is pretty fast at approving. I hope because we are supposed to be moving to around the first of the year, But Dr. Lord wants me local for at least 6 months after surgery. So that means that means no later that July.

Well I won’t talk your ear off (you know what I mean) this time, I will let ya’ll get to know me first. LOL

Welcome!!!! I love this forum over most others because everyone here is so supportive.  I had RNY 19 months ago and still feel the daily pull to this sight.  So glad you found it!! Also Tricare was fast and great about the approval -- my Panni removal has been a diffrent story but......... Good luck on your approval and keep us updated. Thank you also, Jennifer, for the welcome. The insurance is one good thing about the military.
