Congrats on walking in the 5k run/walk.  I can't wait to hear about it!!! I did strength training with free weights for chest, back (oooh stiff already tonight), shoulder, biceps, and triceps 18 min treadmill, 18 min elliptical, 11 min bike

My first 5k was one year ago.  I was so nervous.  I've done 2 since, so I'm not worried about this one.  It feels so good to know I can do something like this! Lori

Hi Lori, I did my 1 hour of water aerobics.  I also had my official interview for the Y - I just need my drug screen and background check.  I will start training next week and will teach Monday nights and Friday mornings beginning in August.  These are really 2 different groups of students, so that has me a bit worried.  Monday night people are expecting a hard workout and the average age is 45 for that group.  The Friday morning group are older ladies who are wanting to be more flexible and need lots of breaks between sets.  This will be a challenge for me! I'm amazed to see how far I've come in just under 5 months.  I cannot believe the amount of strength and stamina I have now, and how much I really enjoy going to workout.  I build my schedule around those classes!
