Jo: August 14th was certainly an auspicious day for me, so I am confident it will be for you, too!  Congratulations on getting the DS, I would have preferred that surgery, but my HMO did not offer it and my options were limited at the time.  I figured the RNY was better than nothing, and so far, things have been fine.
