MONDAY WEIGH IN!

Growing up in California, we used to joke that we did have four seasons just like the rest of the country, only our seasons were Spring, Summer, Fire, and Flood. It looks like Montana is starting to follow California's weather patterns!  I haven't been to Montana since I was in high school (yes, it was a state then, just barely!  ), but I don't remember the weather being as oppressive, and I was there during the summer. Be careful of all the smoke, and if it gets too bad, get a mask at the hardware store and wear it if you are going to spend a lot of time outside. Keep up the great weight loss! Kix

LOL Yup that pretty much sounds like it. If we aren't on fire we are flooding. The joke is always "We are the new California" lol. We spent most of July in the 100's ( awful! ) with a humidity count around 11%. Now its flipped to fires and flooding lol. But hey at least its finally getting cooler.

Here is what it looks like here in town this morning. ( I know it looks like its "out in the woods" lol but its really burning through several subdivisions right now less than 1 mile out of town give or take which way the wind is blowing.) Its an indoor day for sure lolol. Hope you have a super week!! *huggles* Felicia

Lynn, with all the rain we are having in Colorado, all sorts of allergens are flying around here.  My eyes have been itching for days. I saw there was another fire up at Tahoe, near the same spot where the earlier fire occurred.  This didn't affect your folks, did it?  Things must be awfully crispy at Tahoe for there to be so many fires this year.  Scary. Hope you feel better soon -- take some serious allergy drugs, go home, and take a long nap. Congratulations on losing two lbs this week! Kix

Here you go with my numbers.  The gall bladder surgery still has me losing-thank Goodness! Beginning weight-413 Surgery weight-379.5 GB surgery weight 261.5-I told ya'll I was craving bad things! Last week-240 Today-237 Loss of only 3 pounds, but that is better than a gain.  I am trying to be half the person I was at my 2 year post op check up in October, but that would mean losing 30.5 pounds by October 5.  Impossible?, maybe, but I am going to try.  Then I am going for goal by my birthday. Hugs, Janie

Wow, Janie, I'm impressed that removing your diseased gall bladder seems to have kickstarted your weight loss.  I'd try it myself, but my gall bladder was removed in 1981, darn it!  I think you can make a serious dent in those 30 lbs by October -- go for it! Kix

Welcome back! Moving into a new home is very stressful.  I have moved many times in my life, and while I have enjoyed living in different cities and countries, the actual aspect of moving is quite difficult.  I can't imagine adding buying a house to all that -- I'd probably curl up in a ball and not talk to anyone for weeks!  It looks to me like you're doing well with your weight loss in spite of all the stress in your life right now.  Keep up the good work! It might be hot and dry in Southern Illinois, but at least you have delicious Illinois sweet corn to make up for it.  Kix

Highest Weight 445 Surgery Weight 402 Last Week 397 This Week 391 I am using my scale for these weigh-ins but I look forward to the doc's scale next Thurs, because my scale is usually wrong by about 8 lbs.  I was going to wait until I am under 350 before I buy a new scale though.   Haha I am so used to writing 4-- that I initially typed 497 and 491 - that'd be quite a weight change since surgery!
