MONDAY WEIGH IN!
Dunny, it looks like you're making excellent progress after only two weeks! It's funny, isn't it, getting used to the changing numbers when posting weights?! I still feel weird when I say I weigh 227 lbs.
It doesn't seem possible. My brain still thinks I'm 500 lbs, I guess.
I only weigh at home or at the doctor's office. I tried weighing at the gym, but I think their scales are old and wonky. I climbed on it, weighed myself, and almost ran through the hallway to drown myself in the pool. It said I weighed 11 lbs more than I weighed at home. Ptui!

Its very strange getting used to the changing numbers. I haven't been under 400 in 2 or 3 years! Being in the 200s - wow that was maybe age 15 or 16. I can't even recall how that felt! Still not going down in sizes though... definitely looking forward to that!
All the best, Jenn
Hi Kix,
We had a great weekend of visiting with friends and family. The weather has been HOT here - 106 Saturday and 102 yesterday.
I know what you mean about the California seasons!
Here are my numbers for today:
Surgery Referral Weight 368 Feb. 8, 2006
Kaiser Options Class Wt. 375 June 14, 2006
Consult Weight: 351 December 7, 2006
Surgery Weight - 344 Jan. 31, 07
Last Week: 240.2
Today: 234.6
YAY this was a good week -- one of the best since surgery. I think that my exercising more helped.
I went back for my 6 month check up, and I'm thinking that a goal of 180 is entirely do able! So did my surgeon. At first, we all thought that 200 would be my goal weight because of my frame size and muscle mass, and now it looks like I might be able to go lower. I am beginning to have issues with hanging skin and rashes, so the faster I can get to goal and maintain for awhile, I can get the skin issues taken care of.
Thanks for taking care of the weigh in for us!
