Gym Is Open (Thursday)

Wow, what a stressful day this has been so far for me at work!  So glad I made it to the gym this morning...at least that part of my day went right! 45 mins on the treadmill, then abs and stretching for 15. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

I know what you mean about stressful days. Going to the gym is good when those days come around.  I made it to the  gym at 4:45am did and hour on elliptical and worked on my abs 60 crunches.  Lorraine

I admire those of you who can workout in the morning!  Anyway, I am planning some cardio dance followed by abs and back work. Edited to update:  I did almost an hour of cardio dance and skipped the abs.

Jesus is so good to me;  I couldn't ask for a better friend, protector, leader, savior!

Whew, I had an active day.  I went to my usual rec center to do my cardio, but I overslept and this only left me with 30 minutes of in-line skating machine time, so I cranked up the Ipod and played all the Cajun and Salsa tunes* and worked it for those 30 minutes.   I then left to go to the rec center with the warm water pool, where I did 40 minutes of aqua arthritis (with the really good teacher) and then stayed for 30 additional minutes and swam back and forth. This evening, my sister and I went to aquacise and we exercised for 40 minutes.  Then I came home and did two loads of laundry, which means climbing up and down the stairs six different times. I'm tired! Kix * I have an interesting mix of music on the Ipod.  About the only things I don't have are classical music and sea shanties.

I forgot to post this yesterday, so I'm doing it today.  I did 2 hours of water aerobics on Thursday.  One in the morning, and my husband, son and youngest daughter came with me.  Last night, it was just me for the evening.  John forgot his suit and didn't realize it until we got to the Y so he went into the gym and ran and lifted weights.
