GYM IS OPEN (MONDAY)
As long as I'm opening the scales early, I thought I'd go ahead and open the gym early, too. Lori will be in Boston all week, so I figure between all of us good folks here, we can keep the gym open during her absence.
I'll post my exercise later. Opening the gym early will allow the early risers and the East Coast folks to post at times convenient for them.
What did you do (or plan to do) to move your body today?

I woke up kind of late this morning so I did an abbreviated workout - 20 minutes on the elliptical, 20 minutes on the treadmill. I did the interval training, which I think makes it more affective (even if it does kill me - evil trainer!)
This weekend is my big weekend - I am hiking my first 14er! Mt Quandary will be my first victim and I am excited! I'm trying to do workouts that will help me when I'm at all of 14,265 feet.

Hi Kix -- Thanks for taking care of the gym this morning.
My youngest dd Amanda has been wanting to try a Pilates class, so I stupidly agreed to go with her! Huge mistake! So, I did an hour of painfully hard, impossible to do Pilates, then swam laps for 20 minutes before aquafit, did 1 hour of aquafit, then taught swim lessons for 1 hour. I will teach 1 hour of aquafit tonight at 6pm, but I cannot do what I had planned because my legs HURT from the stupid Pilates class!
And yes, we will go back to the class again on Wednesday, because I'm told I will get better at it, and it will be easier, and it will develop more core muscles, and because I'm a sucker when my daughter said "Mom, this is something we can do together, please come with me!"
So that is my day of exercise -- can I sleep now??? Can I ice my legs??
