Gym Is Open (Tuesday)
I did a quick gym trip this morning and just did my 45 min on the treadmill. My weigh****chers leader gave me an exercise step today. I have a routine for it. I'm going to try it out tonight. A trainer I had in the early days had me working with the step. It kicks your butt.

Well, I'm kind of grumpy. My rec center (where I do my cardio/weights) is closed for two days while the electrical system is repaired. I went to the rec center where I go for aqua work because I knew they also have an in-line skating machine.
Went there today, and the in-line skating machine is broken!
I did 10 minutes of treadmill, then I tried their cross-training machine, but it's different from the one at my rec center and I couldn't make it work without putting a terrible strain on my knees. I tried the recumbent bike, and again, my knees couldn't bend far enough to use it.
I ended up doing a new weight machine that we don't have at my usual center -- it works the calf muscles. Between that and the treadmill, I only did about 15 minutes worth of exercise today, darn it.
We are going to aquacise tonight, so the day isn't a total loss. I'll try the rec center up the street tomorrow and see if their machines are more Kix-friendly (or if they have an in-line skating machine). I miss my skating!
If need be, I can just do treadmill tomorrow, now that my mind is prepared for it. Or, I can go to one of the daytime aqua classes. I was so bent today that the in-line skating machine was broken, I couldn't wrap my mind around 30 minutes of treadmill -- not to mention my knees!

PS: It's such a nice day today, I just might take the dogs for a walk.
