Dad passed away today

This morning dad was rushed from his rehab center to the emergency room due to breathing difficulties. They found out he had pneumonia and hours later died from heart failure. Ironically, I was going to post a message about how well he had been doing - he had moved to a rehab place and was beginning to walk and breathe completely on his own. Still, we all knew this was a possibility - it doesn't make it any easier but I think we were somewhat prepared. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers, they have been appreciated. Part of me is glad this is over, it's been a rough few months. But I'll miss my dad, he was my hero and an amazing person.

HEY PJ,        OMG, WHEN I READ THE TITLE OF THE POST MY HEART SANK FOR YOU.... HOW SAD TO HEAR. I HOPE YOU AND YOUR MOM ARE OK? I KNOW HE SUFFURED LONG AND HARD AND TRYED SO HARD TO BOUNCE BACK FROM ALL HE WENT THRU BUT SOMETIMES OUR BODY CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH.... I CAN TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THE BEING OVER FEELINGS... ITS HARD TO SEE SOMEONE YOU LOVE SO MUCH BE IN PAIN AND SO SICK.. THE LORD JUST HAD A BETTER PLAN FOR HIM ....JUST REMEMBER THIS.... THINK HOW GREAT IT WAS FOR HIM TO SEE YOU SO MUCH MORE HAPPY AND HEALTHIER BEFORE HE LEFT YA. I KNOW IT IS HEART BREAKING IN ITSELF TO LOSE A PARENT BUT HOW FORTUNATE SOME ARE TO HAVE THEM THAT LONG IN THERE LIFE....HE WILL BE SO MISSED IM SURE AND YOU LOVED HIM DEAR. JUST TRY TO BE STRONG FOR YOUR MOMA AND FAMILY AND HANG IN THERE... YOU KNOW WE ARE HERE FOR YOU....ANYTIME YOU WANNA YAK WE ARE ONLY A KEYBOARD AWAY..... BLESS YOUR HEART...... HUGS MARGE

PJ, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad.  Praying for you as you go through these next days, weeks and months.

you are in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my father 7 years ago from a long illness. And even though you were prepared for his departure, If you ever need a shoulder or an understanding ear, I  and I am sure everyone else is here for you
