Gym Is Open (Thursday)

I did another brisk walk outside this morning for 45 mins instead of the gym, due to time.  I hope to get back to my regular schedule soon with the weight training as well as the cardio... What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hi Lori, John and I went to water aerobics this morning, and we have an appointment with a personal trainer at the Y tonight to learn more about the gym and develop a personal plan for each of us.  We will finish with the trainer just in time for night time water aerobics, so we will go to that as well.

My rec center closed for two days for electrical repair, and finally opened back up today. I did 45 minutes on the in-line skating machine and 45 minutes of weight machines. Kix

I haven't been reporting in because my day to day exercise plan is super boring and sounds so small compared to you athletes However, I am still doing two 20min walks per day and I've added a little gardening and housework lately.  The mess finally got to me.  I am finally returning to school next week, thank goodness.  I do worry a little as I still can't shake the tiredness and how little it takes to wear me out.  I am going to try to get up from my desk once per hour and walk for at least 10 minutes, so that will up the daily activity significantly.  Doing better with protein, but still very poorly with food in general.  Avocado, banana, milk, cheese, and sometimes roast chicken seem to settle well.  Everything else is a crap shoot.  Avocado is about the only thing that seems appealing.   Every meat I've tried ends up tasting vaguely like duck... I hate duck.  Even tuna tasted like duck.  I am either losing my mind or my taste buds.  Quack Quack, Jenn

Hi, Lori.  I hit the gym after work yesterday for 50 minutes on the elliptical trainer.  I hadn't made it to the gym on Tuesday or Wednesday, so Thursday's workout felt really good.  I'm still amazed about how good exercise makes me fell - who'd have thunk it?  Not me, that's for sure.  But now that I'm living it, I can't imagine doing anything else.   Kellie
