Thanks Kix, it is nice to know someone misses me! Yes, it snowed on Saturday.  It didn't stick in the valley, but, the mountains are all dusted white!

Hi, Kix - thanks for opening the gym!  I lifted weights for upper and lower body at lunch today.  I'll head back to the gym after work for round 2 - 45-55 minutes of cardio on the elliptical trainer.  (Will do as much as my right knee can handle - it's been giving me the blues, so I'm trying to be gentle until it's feeling better....).   Good luck to everyone finding the time and motivation to move today! Kellie, I admire how much you work out!  I'm wondering if there is such a thing as too much exercise?  Not that I'm in any danger of hitting that milestone... I'll sing those knee blues right along with you.  Mine are yodeling today. Kix

There's definitely such a thing as too much exercise, but I've yet to hit that point!  I pay close attention to how my body feels and, so far, it's telling me to keep plugging away.   I only go to the gym during the week, so I've got five days to try and fit in two weight lifting sessions and 4-5 cardio sessions.  Which is why I sometimes go twice in one day (weights at lunch, cardio after work).  Then I have my weekends free to do stuff around the house, and just have some down time for myself.   There are some folks I work with that workout twice a day almost every day.  Personally, I think that's nuts, but it seems to work for them.  I don't know how they ever get anything else done, but hey, that's not my problem, right?   Perhaps our knees can learn to harmonize.... I went to the warm water pool today and took two aqua arthritis classes, so that worked out to an hour and a half of pool exercise.  I also managed to get in 10 minutes of swimming back and forth until the rude group of seniors showed up and bogarted the pool.  They congregate in the middle of the pool and do nothing but gab.  There's no way to swim around them because there are too many of them.  Rude sods! It felt good to exercise after taking a week off.  I definitely feel it, too! Kix
