I'm taking today off - I've got a test today and I am usually up early trying to cram in all the studying I didn't do the week before - yup, I'm a procrastinator. But I will be tettering around in high heels today, walking from the train to school to the bus to the train, and so on. Does that count? (I have new shoes that I absolutely adore and just have to wear them today!)
. So, I admit it, my vanity has taken over and I tend to want to look good in class.
Geesh, that makes me sound like I'm a 20 year old coed.
Watch out for those Tender Vittles, now! I read an article that younger men are more interested in older women because we are intelligent and not prone to Paris Hilton-like behavior. That's all well and good, but I can't get past feeling like Mrs. Robinson in "The Graduate" when I meet up with younger guys. I've always been attracted to men at least 10 years older than me, which was fine and dandy when I was a pup. Now that I'm older, it means the guys are eligible for Social Security! I can't win!

Hi Kix!
I'd like to say that my life was going to get back to normal, but, not quite yet! I had a very successful concert on Friday night. Remember the one I was sweating about breaking even on as I had my own money on the line? Well I sold out and got an additional 20 chairs brought in for overflow! It went great! I made a big faux pas and gave the artist the venue's money and vice versa and no one counted their money until the next day so now I have to go get a cashier's check and fed ex it to Canada...duh! Other than that, couldn't have been more perfect.
On this week's agenda is a very heavy work week, plus Jethro Tull Concert tomorrow night, Bill Staines Concert Wednesday night, Radiothon Fundraising on Wed, thurs, Sat, Sun! I hope I survive all of it!
I did make it to the gym this morning and did 35 min on the track and 25 min upper body strength training.
With all this stress I figure I gotta keep my workouts going!

It's hard to stay committed to daily exercise, isn't it? Exercise really is the key to health, and not just in terms of weight loss/weight management, either.
