Good morning, everyone! I woke up in an incredibly grumpy mood.  It could be that I'm tired, I was up until 2 AM working on this stupid project and I have another long day ahead of me.  It could also be that someone in CO finally won a Powerball jackpot, and it wasn't me.  It could also be that I'm 2 lbs fatter this morning, which I knew would probably happen when I ate that snack of deli roast beef at 10 PM last night (I made sure I really was hungry before I ate it). Sigh.  At least I finished my resume for the Adult Immunization gig last night. Today's plan?  Work, followed by more work.  I'll go to aquacise tonight with my sister, and I may go over to the rec center and do some intervals/weights.  I just can't spend a lot of time over there today. What did you do to move your body today? Grumpy Kix

Also woke up cranky - slept bad after a fight with my husband.  Between him and work I have had a bad week!  I did 30 minutes on the bike and I'm going to go do some gardening soon.  I am curious, I called my doc but they haven't gotten back to me.  How long was it before you were allowed to lift more than 15lbs and do things like push and pull the vaccuum?  I'd like to move some stuff around on my patio but I am waiting for my doc's clearance, of course.  I also want to add some arm weights while I am pedaling on the bike.  Of course, they probably won't ever call me back, they never do.  I'll have to wait until my appt mid-Nov, where I will sit there for 3 hours waiting for my 2.5 minutes with Dr. Patel.

I knew something was up when I saw the on your post - is there something in the water? Grumpy seems to be going around. I actually got out of my grumpy mood by doing what all women do when they are grumpy... went shopping. I wasn't planning on shopping but I heard a certain sweater calling my name and just had to answer. Then after the sweater and I had met up, I headed over to Old Navy to try on some jeans. Not just any jeans, but size 10!! And they fit! My 12's were getting a little baggy so I thought I would at least try them on - and since they fit, I just had to buy them. Bad mood gone, Pam is happy again  As for my exercise, I did my mellow day of 12 minutes warm up then upper and lower body weights. I like these days, my fav workout hands down.  A good break from my interval training (also known as 'torture days') Just a couple of more days and you'll be done with this project!! Just keep reminding yourself of that, "I'm almost done, I'm almost done." You'll be in Oz land before you know you

Hi, Kix - sorry you work up grumpy!  I hate it when that happens.  And someone had the nerve to win your Powerball jackpot?  Let's find 'em and give 'em an atomic wedgie Regarding the roast beef snack, it certainly didn't make you gain 2 pounds!!!!  But you know that already.  I sometimes get hungry at bedtime, especially if we'd had dinner earlier than usual.  I know I probably shouldn't eat right before bed, but sometimes I'll have a yogurt or some high-fiber cereal and milk.  I just can't go to bed hungry.   Congrats on finishing your resume; did you submit it yet?  I'll keep sending positive energy your way about this position!

As far as exercise, I did 50 minutes on the elliptical trainer at lunch today.  I'm sort of cranky about some stuff that's going on at work, so I vented my frustration on the machine!  It felt good to work it out -

Hope your grumpies go away soon -

Kellie
