MONDAY WEIGH IN!
Well, actually I am a dollar short - I went to the Monday Night Football game last night (Denver vs Green Bay) and spent way too much money on water - this dang "healthy eating" is ruining all the fun at games - no more funnel cakes! (I'll take feeling good over funnel cakes anyday - although they did smell awfully good)
There must be something in the air because Aunt Flo is also visiting my house as well - the first year after surgery I barely had symptoms each month, just light cramps. But now, it seems like I want to eat anything & everything... and oh. my. god. the cramps and back ache is just, well, no fun at all. In any way, shape or form. &*%^!!!
I'm trying to figure out what I need to maintain and it's been interesting - I think due to my workouts I need more calories than my nutritionist said (she said 1570 but when I do that I lose more weight and I don't really want to lose more - actually, my mom would shoot me if I lost more) but I can't get over the whole mental aspect to eating more. Never in my life have I been on maintenance, it's a freaky weird feeling!

Thank goodness for Dr. Smith. He's the only surgeon in the United States who does the DS entirely laparoscopically, who agreed to perform it on me at a BMI of 73 (and on Medicare).
Since my DS, though, he's stopped accepting Medicare (I don't think they pay enough). However, I am so grateful to him for pulling me through the 8-hour surgery.
Best decision I ever made, too.
You look fabulous, and you're sliding on down that scale, too! Whhheeeeee!
What a ride!
