You are too funny. I just like to read and the elliptical allows me to read and the exercise is fun too.  I have issues with my thighs too I use foundation garments to help with that. Thanks a lot for your support it really means a lot to me.

You had surgery on my birthday!  You rock that elliptical, lady!  I am scared of those machines, I've never actually gotten on one.  They just look too hard.  Your attitude is very inspirational, and I have no doubt you'll succeed.  You've got the determination and your body will just have to comply or get tortured on the elliptical even more You teach it who's boss!

Thanks, I was afraid of the elliptical to in the begining and could only stay on for 5 min. I worked my way up to were I am today. I enjoy it very much you just have to start and it will come.

I went to the rec center today.  It has been a few days since I've used the machines, and I really feel it. I did 20 minutes on the in-line skating machine (they added a second machine while I was away), 15 minutes on the treadmill alternating between a 10% incline and a flat surface (it was tough, but it felt good), and then around 30-40 minutes of weight machines. Since I did the incline work on the treadmill, I elected not to go for my one-mile walk around the lake today.  I feel bummed, as my pedometer only shows 3135 steps thus far and I want to do more, but I don't want to pu**** so hard I can't walk tomorrow. Hi, Diana! How much time do you spend on the leg/thigh machines? BTW, Cody looked quite cute in his six-month pictures, and I see now that love for Harleys starts mighty young!  Did Cody go trick-or-treating, or did he stay home and hand out candy? Kix

Hi Kix, I do three or four sets of 20. Cody went trick or treating. We went to a park near our house that has a trail with local business set up giving out candy. We then went to see both grandma's. He fell alseep half way through the trail. LOL We had fun though. Diana

Hi Kix, Today, I taught 2 water aerobics classes - one in the morning and one at night.  The night time one really wore me out.  Several people from my class enjoyed the workout, but commented on how tired they were.  We had 10 min warm up, 35 minutes intense cardio, 12 minutes of abdominal strengthing, and 5 minutes of stretching/cool down.  All set to 70's music -- Eagles, Carpenter, Queen -- the good stuff! I enjoyed reading about your trip to LV and Arizona.  I really miss the fact that you cannot bring your piggy bank of coins to LV anymore and put them into the slots.  I miss the click of the coins falling into the tray as well.  I'm not much of a gambler, but those things I miss! I'm off for a weekend of sewing at a local quilt retreat center.  I'll see ya on Monday morning!

Eagles?  Carpenters?  Queen?  I'm having acid flashbacks to high school!    Don't forget to throw in some America next time. A quilt retreat sounds like fun.  Instead of enjoying the unusually warm weather we are expecting on Sunday, I'll be stuck at a craft party.    I got strongarmed into attending because a friend of mine is hosting it.  I have no aptitude for crafts. Enjoy your retreat, we'll see you on Monday! Kix
