All Hail Kix!
Isn't is wild how that happens? Air Force Basketball has started again, so i am seeing all my old friends at the gym. I haven't seen them since March, and at about that time I had lost 150 pounds. However, no one seemed to notice I had lost 150 POUNDS last year, and yet now they are all marveling at my 50 pound weight loss since then and boy am I getting the compliments!
It is nice, but I want to say "did you NOT NOTICE I LOST AN ENTIRE PERSON BEFORE??"
Go ahead and let that head of yours get big, you deserve it!
It's great to get a swelled head once in a while! And you definitely deserve it - you've come such a long way, and you are an inspiration to many folks, including myself.
I saw a friend on Saturday who hadn't seen me since my surgery (she lives in the foothills above Fort Collins) - she honestly did not know who I was. She must have hugged me six times! Turns out part of the reason for her visit to Ohio is to offer support to a friend that weighs 400+ pounds, who is having significant health problems. (Problems are so bad that she is looking at having to move into a nursing home because she cannot care for herself, and she's only in her mid 40s.) Anyway, one of the options she is considering is gastric bypass, so it was nice to be able to share some information about my experience.
Anyway, enjoy your continuing "wow" moments - you absolutely deserve them!
