New Photos and Milestones
Well I can finally tie my own shoes, bend over and sleep on my tummy! Woohhooooooooooooo LOL. Check out my profile for my 1-month post-op photos. Hard to believe a month went by already.Visually I can't see a drastic improvement, but I know that will come in time. Physically and emotionally...I'm in a way better place now. Jeanine
I think the change is starting to show in the pictures, Jeanine!! You are doing fantastic, and the expression on your face shows how much better you feel. For me, the changes in physical abilities and then clothing were more evident than any outward appearances. I'm so glad you are over the difficulties from post-op. I'm really happy for you.

Bless your heart! I needed to hear that! You & me both are glad the post op problems are over !
Now suddenly, (unrelated to my WLS) I seem to be allergic to something in my new home. I see an allergist on Friday, but I have been miserable for over a month with constant dripping nose, sneezing & watery eyes. Antihistamines don't even touch it! I get an awful tickle in my nostrils , feel like a sneeze is coming on & then my eyes water like crazy! I have to walk around with cotton shoved up my nostrils...not attractive at all! LOL Hope to get to the bottom of this one SOON!
Thanks so much for your encouraging words! HUGS Jeanine

Well it may not be very obvious to you, but I can see a change - especially in your chest and shoulder area.
Congrats on making it through the first month! You are doing so well

Thanks Dunny...I would love to have a cute little handful of titties (LOL) rather than Gurnsey cow utters...under all of this I have a very petite frame....I'm only 4 ft 11 1/2 " tall! I hope to shrink everywhere and can't wait for clearance to exercise. Wish I could afford a personal trainer LOL. Oh well....thanks for the congrats and encouragement. HUGS Jeanine

Trainers are expensive. Ours isn't too bad, because we get a discount through Ryan's company, and because he's willing to work both of us for the price of one ($30/hr). We're still going to have to cut something else out of our fun budget through probably, and we'll only be using him once a month! I have a very tight budget - complete with spreadsheets and monthly charts. What, me anal-retentive? Naaaah...
And I know what you mean about the petite frame - I'm 5' or 5'1'' depending on who measures me, and I've got a tiny frame under all this fat. My hands and feet are so small its hard to imagine how the rest of me looks under the rolls. There isn't one part of me that stands out as especially large though or where I'm really hoping to lose - I'm big everywhere. I'm really hoping the boobs don't shrink too much, but I know they will. My mom was set in the chest region, then she lost a lot of weight, now they are so small and deflated. She still has a cute round butt though. I am secretly hoping I inherited her butt and that I'll find it hiding in there a hundred lbs or so from now.
Here's hoping you get your Mom's butt! LOL When I was 18..I weighed 130 lbs and my boobs were 36D...I guess thats a big improvement from what I currently have. I could never afford $30/hr for a trainer. I am thinking of joining "Curves" after Jan 1st. I hope its not too fast paced for this out of shape old lady LOL. Plus, my parents are lending me their treadmill over the winter (they are 82 and never use it!) Come SPring I can get out & walk the neighborhood, but right now there is so much ice and I am paranoid about falling! My feet are the smallest in the family 6 1/2 or 7. All of my daughters are taller than me too. Petite has never been a word in my vocabulary before...its a description I look forward to have fit. HUGS Jeanine
