Husband was fired today

How awful for both of you. I'm glad it sounds like he's found something else so quickly.

Oh crap, Jenn. I'm sorry you have this stress to deal with now. It sounds from your other posts that there are good options already in sight. I've heard and read a lot  about the First Amendment and the internet lately. Interesting stuff. All will be well, -Julie

Wow, I am so sorry to hear that, my brother had to leave his job because of a medical issue and he purchased COBRA, that mess cost him approx. 450.00 per month.   I know it is better than not having insurance at all, but it just shows the state of health care in this country.   He exists off of Social Security, something he paid into all of his life and 1/2 of it goes to health care.  Okay, I am finished with my rant.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
