So far I've lost 252 pounds...  still not done, doctor never gave me a goal, I kind of put a goal of 150 pounds upon myself - not sure if that's realistic or even a healthy weight, but I have 90 more pounds to go to get there... that seems unreachable and very discouraging....  I have so much more to go. But I've lost slightly more than 1/2 of me in the past 16 months, so I guess I have a lot to be happy about. I've posted some new pics on my page

Wow - 252 pounds - way to go!!!  And in 16 months - very amazing.  Keep up the great work!!!!! There are other folks in the forum who've hit 150, but I'm not sure how tall they are.  I know Marge, who does the Monday weigh-in post, has been hanging out at 150 for a while now.  Whether this is a reasonable goal for you depends on your height, frame size, and body composition.  I'm 5'7 and although 150 is within the "normal" range for my height, I'm aiming for around 165 post-plastics.  That's the upper range of a "normal" weight for my height, but I lift weights quite a bit so have more skeletal muscle than most folks.  So aiming for the upper portion of the range makes sense for me.   Anyway, you may want to do some additional research on what might be a good, reasonable goal weight for yourself.  I avoided setting a specific goal early out because I wasn't sure what my body would be willing to do.  Now that I'm further out and understand my post-surgical body a bit better, I feel comfortable having a specific goal.   Anyway, congrats on being down 252 pounds - super, super, super!!!! You look incredible!  Congratulations to your success...you must feel awesome!  Don't look at the long run....focus on the now. You have made such strides and the odds are you will continue. Bask in your accomplishment thus far and before you know it....you'll wake up one day and be at your goal!  HUGS  Jeanine
