Weekend plans?

Well, I didn't make it to TJ's this past weekend, will head there after work today.  Need anything I can send you Kix?

Jan, that's really kind of you! I don't need anything.  I was just thinking how much I miss wandering up and down the aisles at TJs looking at all the different products. Wander down a couple of those aisles for me, will you? Kix

You got it - I love TJ's - anytime you need something hollar out.

Computer stuff done - yeah! Home office cleaned, hall closet cleaned and organized! Unaccompained Minors was OK - a few good laughs but sorta dumb overall.

We are having a party on Sunday (for 8 guests) - I am not pleased because I learned about this party Wed night.  I have been cleaning and organizing since, and I'll continue doing so until the last minute, as well as cooking for our guests - which I also just learned about.  I am an unhappy wife and my husband is definitely aware of it.  He works every evening until Sunday and yesterday he didn't help at all on account of an exam - and in the evening we  went to a movie (Be Kind, Rewind - not good). 

Not to man-bash, but this is something that only a guy would do (at least in my experience)!   It's a lot of work to get ready for a party, even if it's just for 8 people.  And it's not like you sit around at home with your feet propped up eating bonbons and have nothing better to do than play Martha Stewart...   Good for you for making him aware that this isn't okay.  And regardless of his schedule, I'd give him some tasks to do related to the party and make it clear that he needs to handle those things.  Then perhaps he'll think twice before inviting 8 guests without asking!  Sheese...   Sorry this has been dumped in your lap for the weekend, but hope you manage to have some fun at the party Sunday.  And make sure your husband is aware that he's the clean-up committee after the soiree is over...   {{{{{hugs}}}}} Kellie

HEY KELLIE,          GREAT POST OR MAYBE IM JUST NOSEY TO SEE WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS DOING LOL.... I HAVE MY GRANDSONS SEVENTH BIRTHDAY PARTY TO GO TO AND ITS AT CHUCKEE CHEESE!! WHOO HOO.... WHERES THE TYLENOL LOL... ITS LIKE A JUNGLE OF KIDS AS IT IS WITHOUT A PARTY TOO LOL.... THAT WILL BE FUN EVEN THOUGH I DONT DO PIZZA. AND SALAD AINT MY THING UNLESS IM AT HOME USUALLY IN CASE OF UGH FEELINGS OF IT NOT DOING RIGHT IN THE OLE BELLY... AND FROM THERE GONNA HIT HOME DEPOT AND LOWES FOR MORE SUPPLIES THATS NEEDED TO FINISH SOME PROJECTS I HAVE GOING AROUND HERE... I HAVE BEEN SO BUSY PAINTING AND PUTTING MOLDING UP... POOR LEON IS WORKING ALOT OF OT SO GUESS WE KNOW WHICH STORES WILL BENEFIT FROM IT LOL.... NOT TO MENTION WE BOUGHT MORE WOOD FLOORING FOR THE UPSTAIRS NOW... CANT DO THAT BY MYSELF.... The weather was nice today, and my sister was working at home, so I bogarted her luxury ride and went to the casinos in Black Hawk.  Had I come home at 1 PM, I'd have come home ahead.  Alas, I came home at 4 PM -$40.  Plus, I think the coffee lady gave me non-decaf, I feel oddly wired and too hyper to have consumed decaf. I didn't do as much walking as I planned, my knee was annoying me today.  I did run into our next door neighbor at one of the casinos, so we chatted for a while.  There were an inordinate number of extremely geriatric folks up there today, it must have been senior center field trip day. Also, a dude sitting next to me won $1000 on a nickel slot machine.  Evil b*****d. We are going to see Hal Holbrook do Mark Twain tomorrow night.  The last time I saw him as Mark Twain was in 1966, I suspect now he won't need the extra makeup.  The weather is supposed to be glorious tomorrow (70s!), but it sounds like we aren't doing anything fun outside.  We have to find a new vet.  My sister had a disagreement with the vet about the vet's squirrelly tactics regarding the tests she ordered and would not cancel.  Apparently, she has had problems with this vet before and this was the final straw, so we get to audition new vets tomorrow. I think we're going to a movie on Sunday, the weather on Sunday is supposed to be cold, darn it. I didn't know PJ was movings to the Springs!  I'm always the last one to find out stuff.  Free rent is a good thing.  Hm, maybe I should see if there's another spare bedroom... Seriously wish I was going to Vegas.  I was reading in a casino book that the downtown casinos have better payout rates than those on the Strip, but I haven't had a chance to test this out yet.   I'll fit some sort of exercise-type activity in there somewhere. Hey Kellie,  Birthday party sounds fun family even better!  I have 11 brothers and sisters and almost all of them live in Florida.  I would love to spend a day just gabbing with them all, I miss them alot lately, So i'm very jealous I hope you have a wonderful time ! Saturday am I take my daughter to weigh****chers so I get to sit through that meeting and the leader woman does not like the idea of my surgery at all ( i think she is afraid I will tell everyone ) but we are getting another 6-12 inches of snow so I may not get to leave the house at all.  If the weather permits after weigh****chers we are taking the kids sledding.   i'm really hoping its not to cold so we can go.  Hubby and I have these tickets to a comedy club we have been trying to use so if we can we may there sat night. have a great time with your family  Estelle
