I totally agree with you on that one! It was so hard for me to do, but I thought it was time to just accept my weight and the best way to do that was to admit it to others - putting it up was kind of freeing once I got over the initial shame.
Hi Linda , welcome, welcome, welcom!!!
I hope you post often as you make it through your presurgery Weight loss, I am always so glad to see people get on her and get to know people before they have their surgery. I wish I had found OH before my surgery, Its really the one thing I woulda done differently! so its nice your not lurking and I look forward to getting to know you!

As Jen and others have said, I love your avatar. My best-loved fur kid was a chocolate Lab. Gotta love a dog named like a linebacker. Mister B. and I took many hikes in the woods together. That's one of my WLS goals - to hike in the woods with a big dog again.
Oh, and Bruno WAS as wide as your picture looks! LOL!
Hi, Linda, and welcome to our little corner of the internet. I'm so glad you finally decided to transition from "lurker" to "poster"!!!! We love new people and I think you'll find the folks here super supportive and very friendly.
Let us know how your 6-month supervised diet is going; that's a pretty common requirement, and I honestly think it's a good one as it gets you started down the path of healthier eating habits before you have surgery. Plus, the more weight you can lose before surgery, the lower the risks of the surgery! All good things -
I look forward to getting to know you, and to sharing your journey
Kellie
