Hi Jan,  Thank you for the welcome.   I did put my weight on my ticker but I was cringing doing it.  This is the heaviest I have ever been and it will just keep going higher if I don't get this WLS, I'm sure.  You've done great in your weight loss, you look great.  Take care,  Linda

I totally agree with you on that one!  It was so hard for me to do, but I thought it was time to just accept my weight and the best way to do that was to admit it to others - putting it up was kind of freeing once I got over the initial shame.

As Jen and others have said, I love your avatar. My best-loved fur kid was a chocolate Lab. Gotta love a dog named like a linebacker. Mister B. and I took many hikes in the woods together. That's one of my WLS goals - to hike in the woods with a big dog again.

Oh, and Bruno WAS as wide as your picture looks! LOL!

She's my first lab and I love her to death. She is such a great dog.  After I lose some weight and can walk comfortably I intend to take her on long walks too.   I hate that I can't do that right now.

Hi, Linda, and welcome to our little corner of the internet.  I'm so glad you finally decided to transition from "lurker" to "poster"!!!!  We love new people and I think you'll find the folks here super supportive and very friendly.   Let us know how your 6-month supervised diet is going; that's a pretty common requirement, and I honestly think it's a good one as it gets you started down the path of healthier eating habits before you have surgery.  Plus, the more weight you can lose before surgery, the lower the risks of the surgery!  All good things -  I look forward to getting to know you, and to sharing your journey Kellie
