Gym is Open (Trusty Tuesday) 5/6
I had an excellent time at the casino. I took $100 with me and came home with $160. I'd have come home with $180, but I missed the bus and made the mistake of going into the nearby casino to kill time while waiting for the next one. Oy.
They have a new slot machine based on the "Press Your Luck" game show that is quite addictive! The fun part is that if you play the maximum bet (45 cents), you have a certain amount of time where, if anyone in the group of slot machine****s a bonus, it triggers the big game board and everyone receives whatever bonus pops up on the big game board. Fun, fun, fun!
I'm quite tired, but I plan to go to the gym and walk on the treadmill. I want to get into prime walking shape not only for our upcoming trip to the Black Hills, but I also want to walk in the Mutt Strut (a fundraise for Maxfund, a no-kill animal shelter) and it's two miles. Oh, and there's no way out of it, I'll have to go to aquacise tonight as well.
What did you do to move your body today?

Sounds like you had fun at the casino - I'm always happy when I come home with anything in my pocket, let alone with more than I started with! You go, big winner!!!! Love the Mutt Strut - one of the local no-kill shelters here in Cleveland does something similar each year; it's a great fundraiser for a fantastic cause.
Today's a yoga day for me, so I'll do an hour of yoga at lunch, then an hour of cardio after work. I really want to get my weight back down to the 189-190 range, so plan to push my exercise a little harder until I get there!
Good luck to everyone finding the time, motivation, and energy to move today!

Kix, sounded like you got a good one-arm workout yesterday! I'd love to play the press your luck game. sounds fun. The last fun one that I played was monopoly. I liked that one. The bonuses were awesome. Too bad I couldn't practice restraint!
Ugh, today I did just leg lower body workout and did circuit training on elliptical. Power through song choruses and recover during the melody. My legs are wobbly!
I really want to figure out how to get 2 a days in to my routine at least 2 days a week. I don't like walking in the neighborhood so that's not really an option. Once I get home, I lose focus. Looks like an earlier wakeup for me to accomplish that. Yuck!

I never win. The only kind of luck I have is bad luck. If there was a lottery for that, I wouldn't even have to buy a ticket, they'd just award me as winner!
Glad you had fun, we played something like that press your luck game in Vegas, it was pretty cool.
No gym for me today. I didn't feel like it
Maybe tomorrow.

Good intentions were just that, good intentions. I woke up exhausted and could not for the life of me gather up enough energy to work out. No aquacise, no treadmill, not even a walk through the mall. I ran two brief errands and came home, where I rested in the recliner all day long. I think I didn't drink enough water yesterday during my casino excursion and thus was a bit dehydrated.

I did the buffet for exercise last night. I came home and did 10 on the treadmill and 10 on the bike. I'm still having some joint issues that is preventing from doing longer sessions. Then I went out in the living room and did hand weights and some exercises on the big blue ball and some floor ex for my core and back.
This exercise sure is a lot harder than the eating part, but I've got some goals now. Hope the joints cooperate.
Kix - when you were a lot heavier, were you active at all before surgery?
