Nine month anniversary (Edit, now with pictures)

Jenn, I am so very proud of you, from day one you have been one of my inspirations, you are rockin your new life and lifestyle, congrats on your 9 month and just keep in mind that you are doing wonderfully and you will continue. Bless your heart, keep your chin up. Kristy

You are an inspiration to me, too!  To think of all that you have accomplished in just 9 months is incredible!  Isn't it annoying how the mental issues hang on....GRRRRR!  I am still pre-op one more required nutrtionist appointment in June, meet the doctor and hopefully on the table for the surgery. I hope you decide to continue posting pics...you are making such remarkable progress that it is nice to see & help people like me see that all this hard work will make a difference as it has for you. Thanks for all that you do on this website - it really does make a difference. Congrats on your success....& keep on keeping on! XO

I feel so funny when people call me an inspiration.  Me?  But thank you :) I think your big day will be here soon, and I agree with you, this website has made a big difference in my life and with my coping.  Its hard to talk to anyone who hasn't been there, and that's what makes this particular board my favorite real estate on the internet.  These people are amazing & I'm so glad you are here with us.  All the best, Jenn

If my legs looked as good as yours, I'd wear shorts and dresses, too!  Hubba hubba! You look amazing, and I can't believe nine months has already passed since you joined us on the Losers' Bench.  I guess time does fly!  I wouldn't worry too much about your "window," I lost steadily and easily right up to 18 months and even still lose now (if I would only stay away from the mother scratching bread) without a whole lot of effort. The best part is that if you stay on track, the weight can stay off.  Happy anniversary! Kix

Haha, I wouldn't say my ghost-white gams look good, but they look a heck of a lot better than they did and if anyone has problems with seeing them, they can bite me, because my poor legs want some air and sun.  They've been hidden for too long!  And San Antonio summer in jeans is just brutal.  Thanks for everything Kix, you rock!

Thanks for going back and posting pictures.  Your journey has been so wonderful to watch.  On my down days (like yesterday when I was also down about the world) I come here and get recharged.  This site is such a blessing and I'm not sure how people did the surgery without this and you are one of the reasons people keep coming back.  You look awesome girl!  -dawn
