Jennie - surgery today
Thanks Jan for the well wishes. I am home - came home about 4pm today, or about 24 hours after completion of surgery. Everything went well, and I had less adhesions than they thought - YAY. I'm feeling fairly good, but sore, and lots of bladder spasms. I wouldn't have thought that going pee would be such an experience! Oh, and I'm NOT happy that I weigh 12lbs more this afternoon than I did yesterday morning! What the heck is up with that! I know that I am pumped full of fluids and I was drinking lots of water but 12 lbs! I also have to say that vicodin is my friend tonight!

Welcome home, glad to hear all went well! Be sure to walk, and isn't it nice that you can come home so soon after surgery? I remember the days when a routine surgery meant a week's stay in hospital. Now, you can have a heart transplant and go home two days later. Keep peeing and you'll soon be rid of those extra 12 lbs!
