Its my last day as a 20 something. I am having a picnic party to celebrate with my husband, best friend, and her family at the park. Here is my food plan - which may or may not be accurate as I don't know exactly what she's making, or whether I will feel as nauseas as I do today. The zoloft is upsetting Thundercles, not easing his anxiety at all. Its also giving me the runs, definitely a change from all that constipation! I just couldn't eat on Wednesday.
B - bacon or mootopia
L - leftover thai, or deli turkey and sharp cheddar
D - tomato mozzarella salad, fruit salad, and something with chicken from Stephanie
S - fiber one bar
"You're the birthday, you're the birthday, you're the birthday boy or girl!" (Simpsons)
I don't know yet exactly what I'll be eating today, but one item on the menu will be Turkey Thighzilla. Turkey thighs were on sale at the store today, and I love turkey thighs. Yum! These turkeys must be related to me, their thighs are enormous!
More later,
Kix

I like turkey thighs too, but they have so many tendons in them I find them to just be a messy pain to eat. But tasty yum, and HUGE yep. I am so glad I don't have a problem eating white meat poultry like a lot of people seem to. How do you cook your thighs?
I use Whole Foods' soy ginger sauce (in the Asian foods aisle) and drizzle a bit on the chicken or turkey thighs, then cook for 14 minutes in our speedcook convection oven.
I love that thing! I can't eat white meat poultry, but dark meat like thighs and legs sit okay.
Here's what I ate the rest of the day: L: turkey thighzilla and salad. D: salad. S: two protein bars.

Good morning, you almost 30-something! My 30's were great and I'm sure yours will be as well - the world will be your oyster!!!!! I hope Thundercles calms down so you can enjoy your birthday and the picnic with your hubby and friends; what a great way to celebrate.
I had a good food day Wednesday as well, so am feeling good about the week. I'm still feeling bloated, but at least the scale has gone down a bit. Hopefully I'll be more comfortable exercising today without some of that extra fluid flapping and flabbing around.
Here's my plan for Thursday so far - not sure about dinner yet, so will update entry and add totals later - updated to reflect actual totals - ran errands after going to the gym in the evening, so was super hungry when I finally got home at 8:30 p.m. It shows in what I ate - the pizza and cereal were unplanned, but I felt hungry so I ate it...

I am sure it has something to do with not eating carbs, but my scale is my friend this week. I've lost almost 5 lbs in 2 days. Woohoo! I really am developing a weight loss pattern though - everything I lose for a month basically comes off the week before my period.
Happy Birthday my friend!!!!
I LOVED turning 30 - my 20's were torture. But 30... I finally felt like a grownup
. Have a great day!!!!
I FINALLY lost a couple of pounds!! Lord, that was the toughest 2 pounds ever. Hopefully this is a good sign and it will continue to work down instead of up. And my breathing hasn't been bad either so it feels like a good decision to have stopped the med.
Pretty much the same today, just sticking with what I know works.
pre-workout snack: PB Pudding
breakfast: 2 fried eggs w/pam spray
snack: fat free yogurt, large banana
lunch: WW Homestyle chicken with green beans
snack: atkins protein bar, 1/4 c. raisins
snack: 2 atkins protein bars
dinner: grilled zucchini with parmeson cheese
snack: honey nut cheerios

Glad the scale was kind to you today, PJ! It was pretty nice to me too, thankfully. I'm hoping to be more comfortable at the gym today than I've been so far this week! I'm glad that stopping the Singulair is not having any negative effects -
Keep up your great work - you'll be back down in your comfort range before you know it!!!
