Gym is Open (Tortured Thursday, 5/8)
Well, I managed to stumble and twist my knee while at the garden store (that's what I get for trying to find plants on sale). I didn't fall, which is why I twisted my knee. No exercise for me until Monday, unless you call elevation and ice packs exercise.

Twist can be a fun word, as in the Twist, Twister, even Twisted Sister but TWISTING YOUR KNEE doesn't make the list my dear!~ Please be careful and stay off your knee until it gets better, we need our fearless gym leader, ya know?
As for me I discovered a slower speed and higher tension on the recumbent bike this morning.... 45 mins later I was dripping wet, tired as heck and one happy camper....

Sorry about the twisted knee, Kix. Elevation and ice packs for you girl - must be careful with the knees and give them plenty of time for the inflammation to go down and for necessary healing to occur.
I'm headed for my fourth day in a row of 2-a-days. When that scale read 197 on Monday I nearly crapped myself (figuratively speaking) and I'm doing what it takes to get it back down to the 189-191 range where I'd been maintaing for about a month. So today I'll do lower body strength training at lunch, then 60 minutes of cardio after work. I haven't hit the stairmill yet this week, so think I'll do 20 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes stairmill, then wrap up with 20 minutes on the rowing machine.
Take care of that knee. And, by the way, did you get any plants on sale???

Ouch! Be careful on that thing!
I am not gymming today, but I will play with 3 boy children at the park and make sure to get lots and lots of physical activity in there.
Relax and take care of that knee girlfriend!
I did a short workout today due to some car issues (my *&%^ battery is dead - such an expensive pain with a VW). Did 20 minutes running, 10 minutes on the stair machine.
Tomorrow I'm heading to the mountains to volunteer for a big adventure race - I'm going early to do some mountain biking and hiking. So, tomorrow will more than makeup for my short workout today.
