Well our picnic on Thurs sort of changed to Stephanie's house because her husband had to work late and we didn't want to be grilling in the dark.  We had fun anyway, and I had lots of fruit salad and tomato salad and some chicken from the grill.  They then surprised me with a cheesecake, which of course I couldn't really eat but I did have 2 bites and some of the berries (strawberries, raspberries and blackberries yum) from the top.  It was nice to see her, she's been my best friend for a long time, in fact I followed her to San Antonio about a year after she moved here.  But now it seems like we only see each other a few times a year.  Growing up sucks.  Only one thing to say really,  I am sooooo glad I don't have 3 boys under the age of 12.  She is super-mom.  So what are you going to eat on Friday?  I am not sure here, but I think I might try the pot roast I didn't want to make yesterday.  Oh, and I am getting over the nausea from my new med so food was a better prospect today.  Messed up as it is, I sort of liked not wanting to eat.

How's our newest 30-something doing this Friday?  Sounds like you had fun yesterday - cheesecake = yum!!!  At least a couple bites does.  More than that and dump city here I come. 

I can relate to your feelings about your friend - some times our lives just go different directions and we don't have as much time to stay in touch.  I have a couple long-time friends like this and, although we rarely get time together, when we do it's like we just saw each other yesterday.  I really value that, and it sounds like you do as well.  I am also glad I don't have 3 boys under the age of 12!!! 

I'm still having a good food week, although I had more calories that intended on Thursday - I was just hungrier so I ate more.  Scale was still kind this morning, so all in all I'm feeling good about the week.  Here's how I plan to round out my weekday food - edited to reflect lunch choice, change to afternoon snack

Breakfast:  1 cup 1% milk in my coffee, 1 packet Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal

Snack #1:  1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, 4 tbsp. sugar-free preserves, 1/2 c. sliced strawberries

Snack #2:  1 small banana
Lunch:  cup of chili, 1/2 sandwich (Boar's Head Black Forest ham on rye w/ mustard and lettuce)

Snack #3:  Fage 2% yogurt, 1/4 c. Bob's Red Mill Mueslix, ~ 1/2 c. sliced strawberries Add'l snack:  Venti non-fat latte w/ sugar-free vanilla syrup
Snack #4:  1 slice whole-grain bread, 3 oz. honey ham, 1 slice low-fat cheese 

Dinner:  ~5-6 oz. pan-seared scallops, oven roasted zucchini w/ mushrooms and grape tomatoes, 1/2 c. Uncle Ben's wild rice Snack #6:  2 sugar-free fudgesicles

Carbs:  289.6
Fats:  50 Fiber:  31.9

I'm doing well, thank you.  Nothing magical happened at midnight, I didn't turn into a crone or anything, so I'm relieved :P  I feel fine, except for being quite sleepy still.

Here's my plan B - 8oz mootopia, 8oz coffee, ice, sf toffee syrup, and benefiber L - 2oz deli turkey, 1oz sharp cheddar cheese This changed to some leftover bbq sausage - maybe an oz worth, I didn't weigh it, and a handful of pretzels (half a serving) S - fiber one bar D - pot roast and roasted vegetables OMG I LOOOOVE PARSNIPS! S - 16oz soy milk (silk plus fiber) Calories - 1099 Fat - 43g Carbs - 103 Fiber - 27g Protein -80g Exercise - 1hr on treadmill

Pre B - SF NF Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte B - turkey pepperoni stick, Dutch cheese S - SF NF Grande Carmel Latte S - cottage cheese, Splenda peaches L - homemade turkey chili, banana S - turkey jerky, fruit biscuits D - taking the relatives out - most likely sharing fajitas with hubby S - going to a club, maybe 1 SF margarita?

What is Greek style tilapia???  I like tilapia, but am looking for different ways to prepare it so my girlfriends don't mutiny...

I decided to up the fat a tad (I'm all dried out again)-- and tomorrow I will be officially not counting, as I am going out to dinner with the crazy DSers-- if my gallbladder explodes, I'm suing them!

I notice when I have days where my fat count is higher, I definitely have an easier time of it in the bathroom.  And my skin tends to get dry if I go below 30g for more than a couple of days.  Have fun at dinner!

Happy Real b-day...I wasnt sure how much time I would have today But I did get on so I should post. ..I had a really really crappy day...I planned a after prom party for the kids at my daughters school tomorrow night at the bowling alley next to the holiday in where they are having prom..anyway At 330 today the gm from the bowling alley called me and said that he double booked the place and that the other school had a written contract and they did not want us there...So I called the other school and had a fit and said are you really saying that you are going to turn down 25 kids who have no where to go at 12 am I mean I didnt even have time to tell them it was 3:30 on fri and prom is tomorrow I couldnt even communicate with the kids to let them know it was canceled and some would be getting dropped off and not picked up until 3 am...she said she understood but couldnt do anything about it...The gm from the alley called me and said just come...then he called me back and said they threatened to sue!   are you friggin kiddin me? I was so pissed I was crying actualy crying...The worst part is we live in a seriously small school district k-12 and the other school that got double booked with is in the next town over...the GM from the alley said he had MORE than enough room for both schools but that the other school was seriously pissed....... It took me untill about 8 pm but we got the other alley about 15 miles away to let us go there and now we will have to call taxi vans if kids need rides ....I spent well ovr 100 bucks of my own money to make food stuff and the teachers are bringing things as well....On Monday I am calling the paper and telling them what the neighboring school did I hope they print it....can you tell im pissed! ?
