All is well. My cholesterol is still a little on the high side (because HDL is very high) - the total is 222 but 90 of that is HDL so I'm not terribly concerned. LDL and triglycerides are still going lower with each round of bloodwork. No vitamin D results, but B-12, iron, calcium, folate, etc. all fine. Yay :)

I didn't have a list of test orders so I told my PCP to test the same things he did last time. He didn't, he left off several tests, the most important of which was D. When I go back for a year I'm going to have a long list of all the tests I want, with codes, to avoid this problem.

Actually that's kind of weird because I never had high cholesterol until after surgery - it went up quite a bit between my pre-op blood work and my 3 month blood work. But its slowly going back down now so that's good.
Good Job QT, they didn't test my vit D on my 6 month check up even after my 3 month was so bad. I don't know why but i'm going to request that they do it at my 9 month...Do you still have your G/B? When my G/B was bad my cholesterol was high soon as they took it out it regulated itself back down....I never asked if it was high because of my G/B I just always assumed it...

I do not have my gall bladder. I misplaced it when I was 21. Actually cholesterol is a cause of gallstones, not vice versa - but your liver may have been irritated and producing extra cholesterol. The only time I've ever crossed into high cholesterol is since surgery, but its been skating near high for a few years. My HDL is always so high though, I don't worry to much about it, its just odd.
