Hey Everyone.. Im new to the site and someone told me to check out this site since my bmi is over 50.. ive been reading these posts and it makes me feel better that im not the only one with so far to go.. and reading other posts shows me that there is light at the end of the tunnel so to speak... im going to call tomorrow and check and see if my insurance covers the surgery and if it does... guess i will start the journey to get approved and tests etc..  after reading the post about sex after surgery lol i honestly cant wait to try sex ... well skinny sex lol ive always been heavy.. anyways thank you guys for being here..

This forum is so supportive and there is a wealth of information on here.  We have new post-ops and those who are 2+ years out and still losing.  There is so much hope and inspiration here.  Welcome and good luck

Welcome!  I'm glad you accepted the invitation and hope we see you around here often.  This is a very supportive board with people at all different stages of this process.  The one thing we all have in common is that we really understand what its like to be large.  Most of us have been large for most or all of our lives, and we understand the challenges and experiences that go with that.  Please ask lots of questions and keep us updated about how everything is going!
