Celebrate with me!!

Doing the happy dance here ... I just started my period. Now mind you, I normally wouldn't celebrate that fact but .... This is my last one ever!!! My hysterectomy is scheduled for next Tuesday.  Got to find something good in the bad right?

LOL!  Well, congrats on getting your last period.  Hopefully your surgery and recovery go well.  A few years ago, when my mom was in her mid-50s she asked the Dr. for a hysterectomy after she learned her mother had periods until she was about 60.  The Dr. had to tell my mom that it wasn't an elective surgery.

Can you just see it if it was elective, a lot of women would be lined up. ;) Thank you!

Congratulations on your final period Jandell!!!!  Best of luck with your surgery of course.  How long will you be in the hospital with that?

Thank you! If all goes well, I'll be out-patient the DR says!  I'm having a hard time believing that one, but we'll see. I have a pre-op appointment with the DR this Thursday night so I'll find out more then. I live across the street from the hospital so unlike all the other WL related surgeries I've had I won't be traveling for an hour each way.

Oh happy day...oh happy day....!!!! I'm so jealous.  I'm still working up the nerve to call my gyn about my sex issues.  I don't really want to have another surgery so soon!
