Makeup recommendation

I got in my E.L.F. makeup yesterday. It's www.eyeslipsface.com. There was a post about it on the main board about a month ago and it's all only $1 each.  I got $7.50 off my order and ordered two 4-color eyeshadow compacts, 5 eye or lip liners, mascara, eyebrow gel, 2 bronzers, a mineral makeup set, an eye whitener, lip gloss, in all there were 19 items and I spend total $36. That's like 1 tube of estee lauder mascara and nothing else or a tube of lipstick at the cosmetic counter in Belk or Dillards. I was skeptical because someone said their makeup was crap. Well, I tried it today and I'm not sure about the mineral face makeup, but love the eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadows, lipliner and lipstick. My eyeshadow is usually gone by the end of the day (with any brand I've ever tried), mascara and eyeliner is smeared and I just look all melty, but my eye makeup held tough today! I would highly recommend the eye makeup. I'll with hold my judgement of the mineral face makeup until I look on their website to make sure I applied it correctly. If the code still works, it's CAROLINA and it's 50% off an order of $15. I got $7.50 off my order.

I too have found their foundation-type makeup to be kinda crappy. At least the stuff I got, had no coverage and made me look chalky. The eye stuff is good though. The mascara I liked quite a lot, got the one with waterproof on one end and regular on the other, and both worked very well. Seemed like they were dryish and wouldn't work well when I just opened the tube, but I just guess that's how they are made. I got thick awesome lashes, and that never happens for me. Posting as an aside though, you can get the e.l.f. products at Kmart for $1 each all the time for most of their stuff, but the mineral makeup is more, the brush kits are more, etc. If you have a Kmart, you can walk in and out without shipping. Though also no bulk discount (which I think is used to offset the shipping charges usually. Apples and oranges)

Don't want to sound like a salesperson here (cuz I'm not), but re: eye shadow... I spent my life with creasy, worn off eye shadow that would even make my eyes burn at the end of the day.  All that changed (regardless of which brand of eyeshadow I use) the day I started using Mary Kay's eye primer.  Each morning I smooth on a very small dollop onto each eyelid and voila!  Eye shadow no longer creases.  I've been using this product for years.  LOVE IT!

They had discontinued that when I was selling it.  I didn't realize it was back on the market.  I've used primers before and they seem to work well no matter what the brand, but it's just another product to apply.
