Monday weigh-in
Had an okay weekend....pretty much same old weekend stuff of catching up on life and the house. Getting some things cooked and put away for when I have surgery - when I was on bedrest with Emily, we bascially lived on Taco Bell. UGH! So I'm cooking up veggie beef soup, chili, chicken nuggets, etc. so I have stuff to just pull out and microwave.
My weight stayed the same!!!! It's been bouncing up 2, down 1, up 1, down 2 and on and on. I think TOM is lurking so I'm thinking I'm in for a visit of the whoosh fairy once everything settles back down.
Take Care,
Jana
How great is it that now we can enjoy summer!!?? I hated summer before - I was always so hot and refused to wear any clothes that showed any part of my body. Now, I love it - what a change!
I spent the weekend camping at the Sand Dunes National Park - exhausting but a blast. We climbed sand dunes for 4 hours Saturday, which I found out is really hard to do. Some parts are so steep you have to crawl on all 4's to make it up. But what a view, totally worth the effort!
Last week was good, I got rid of some of the weight I've gained. One more week of watching it, then next week it will be carb city in preparation for the race.
surgery weight: 371
Last week's weight: 183
this week's weight: 179
4 pounds down, about 4 to go for this week. I would feel comfortable doing the race at 175, so that's my goal this week.
Thanks for doing this Kellie!
It truly is fabulous to be able to enjoy the summer weather, instead of rushing from one air-conditioned place to another.
I camped at Sand Dunes National Park when I was 12 or 13 with family who live in Colorado. We had a blast - it's a gorgeous park. We did not hike the dunes during the daytime, but did other hiking and exploring. I'd like to camp there again sometime...
Good luck with finishing your prep stuff for the race - looks like you are doing just fine. I didn't think I'd ever push past 185, but I'm done to 182 now - am interested to see where it's going to go, as I'm still eating and exercising pretty much the same (well, unless you count this weekend's drinking activities...).

Well, I'm still in this stall. In the past three weeks I've only lost about 3-4 lbs. I really expected to be losing faster so soon after surgery. Can't wait to see my nutritionist next week to see if she can explain it any better. I *am* losing inches however and that's the only thing holding me together emotionally.
Anyway,
Weight at start of liquid diet: 465
Surgery Weight: 430
Last week: 413
This week: 413
Beginning Weight: 284
Surgery Weight: 252
Last Week: 169.5
This Week: 168
