The gym is open.

I'm not going anywhere today, my knee is killing me.  I hate not being able to take Advil, Tylenol is useless for this kind of pain.

My plan for the day will be to rest on my recliner with my leg elevated and my knee packed in ice.  I still can't figure out how I sprained my knee doing old lady water aerobics.  Oy.

Hi, Kix.  I've been off my routine for about a week now, but am going back today.  I will do strength training and core work at lunch, then cardio after work.  Some of the drama in my personal life has come to a head, so I'm hoping things will settle back into a regular routine of sorts soon.  I'll just have to wait and see what happens -

I finally got back to Curves after slacking off the last month UGH.  But go me I made it to Curves last night and it felt good, and addition to that I had my 20 min walk with the dog.  I know I need to step up my walk time but with starting back at Curves I think ill give myself some time to adjust to that before pushing myself on my evening walk.

Oh, that aching knee of yours!  Sorry to hear it's bummed up again.

I am tired!  I did 30 minutes on treadmill alternating walking and jogging every 4 mintues.  I did 1.75 miles at an average speed of 3.5.  Then moved over to the recumbant bike for 20 minutes with the sweat just dripping off of me.

Needless to say, I'm tired now, and my calves are mad at me!

Poor Kix, sorry to hear the knee isn't better!

Letting the dogs walk me is still all I'm allowed to do, so we'll go again tonight, every night we go a bit farther which is good for all of us.
