I'm new

I haven't had surgery yet, but I'm likely having RNY sometime in October/november. i'm 30, have 3 kids and I'm married to a Sailor. My BMI was 54 when I started the whole process. I believe it's 52 right now and I have a personal goal of getting under 50 before my surgery. I'm 5'2" and about 286 right now.

Would love to meet others gearing up for surgery like me :)

Welcome to the forum!  It's pretty quiet on the weekends, but you'll see things pick up during the week.  I wish you the best on reaching your pre-op goal of having a BMI under 50.

I am preop as well - my paperwork was just submitted to the insurance company last week so I am patiently awaiting my phone call for a date!!
