I did some light walking yesterday (nothing too exerting) for 1.7 miles.  It totaled around 6500 steps on the pedometer.

I'll do some more walking today (again, nothing too difficult).

What did you do to move your body today?

I'm having to ferry my son back and forth this week because he had to have an emergency appendectomy on Saturday and he's not cleared to drive until after his check up on Monday..... so I'm having to forego my early morning workouts.... maybe I'll take the grandson and the little dog for a walk this afternoon if it's not raining......

I hope the nose splints are feeling better!

15 minutes elliptical / 30 minutes upper body

Edited to add...
And probably a good 1.5 mile hike to class this afternoon.  I so hate parking at the university!

I was just released to get back in the pool from my knee surgeon yesterday.  Tonight I have a PTO meeting at the school, so tomorrow night I hope to hit the pool from some laps, physical therapy on Friday and a water aerobics class on Saturday morning.

I haven't had a chance to formally exercise lately, although I've been very active - more active than I'd like actually. I did walk my friend's dog 3 miles over the weekend - 1.5 each direction. Puppy and I were both tired. I need to get back in the gym, once all of the meetings and things that pop up at the beginning of the semester are behind me I should be able to go on T/Th and the weekends at least.

I am riding my first rollercoaster EVER on Sun Aug 21 - we are having a friend's birthday celebration at Six Flags. I am excited and nervous but I MIGHT like roller coasters, or I might get very ill, we shall see. I need to walk a lot more before then though, so that walking around Six Flags with 3 fit people doesn't kill me.

I was so worn out by the stress from work lately that I napped instead of swam today. I'm sort of scared that I am going into a Fall depression. I cried at work yesterday from the stress. I HATE it when that happens.

Then again, maybe this tired spell is me getting ready to shed some weight? A girl can hope.

I WALKED all around Kmart (1st time going to a BIG store sans scooter cart) yesterday!  I also go to the park and walk from bench to bench and I feel light as air!  It's so fun!!!  I have been going to small stores for a month and walking (god it's hard when there is no where to rest) but KMARt?  WOw!  That's a big thing for me!  I can also weed my vegi garden without help now and go for 5 min at a time on the tread mill, rest and do 5 more! (I exceed it's weight limit but it's not like I am running  so it should be ok)    :)

Start: 487 lbs (8/07) Lost 81 lbs pre op on South Beach. 406 lbs at surgery (6/08). 179 post op, by 2011. I  lost 308 lbs. Gained 98 while pregnant (2012-13) lost all but 25. My goal is to be 179 again!
