What are your interests?

I'm in the same boat.  I was thinking of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz for myself.  Simple apron dress to make.

So let us know if you have any special interests.

I was thinking Dorothy as well.  Mainly because all the costume websites have a replica of her outfit that looks simple enough to make.  I would love some ruby red slippers and if the party turns into a bore I could click my heels and head home!  hehehehe

I got some cute red shoes at target recently that remind me of Dorothy's shoes but not with the sequins!  Sophisticated enough for work but reminiscent of Dorothy!

How about Beth the Bounty Hunter? Beth the Bounty Hunter Costume

You could totally pull that off!  That one was the best that I saw.  But I really think that we are going to do the plug and wall outlet.  Too funny!!!!!

This year I'm going to be Snow White. 'm going to the OH event in LA without hubby. :(

In the past we've always done couples costumes and pat myself on the back, we usually always win. I love to sew so I've made them all myself.

Here are some of our winners -

Raggady Ann and Andy
Mr & Mrs Potato Head
A Bumble bee and a Beekeeper
an Indian Princess (hubby) and a cowboy (me)
Dolly Parton and the Rhinestone Cowboy
Frankenstein and his bride
A hooker (hubby) and a pimp (me)

Last year I went to our halloween party as a fat paris hilton.  i wore a long blonde wig, slinky dress, and had a stuffed chihuahua.  everyone loved it.  always fun to laugh at myself.  hopefully i won't be a fat anyone much longer.  love the mimi idea, might do that this year.

My family kept asking why I didn't take pictures of my Mimi costume.  I told them I didn't need too, that I looked just like her.  The strangers at the party thought I was wearing a wig.  LOL  Loris
