WOW MOMENT!!!
I'm going to add this to my list of milestones to look for. What a great WOW moment. I get so sick and tired of the cuff at my doctor's office erroring out. I keep telling them it's because of my weight and they deny it, but I'm convinced it's my weight. Everything has to do with my weight.
Anyway, I'm being fatalistic like I usually am.
It is FANTASTIC that you were able to use a regular cuff!!! Keep up the great work. You're working toward achieving a similar weight loss as me and I need all of this continued inspiration!

Yeah!!! I'm so happy for you. That is a biggie in my book too. I can't wait for that day. Funny you should mention this.... The last time I was at my family doctor there was a new nurse who took my vitals. The one that is normally there knows to get the bigger cuff without even saying a word but this new one didn't. She was this little girl who was really young and she FREAKED because she didn't know what to do with my MEATY FLAP. She went and told two more people in the office across the hall that she didn't know what to do b/c the cuff wouldn't fit me and is there a bigger cuff and omg, the horror.
This was about 4 weeks after surgery so I had not lost a significant amount of weight yet but it was nice to know I was on my way or I probably would have had a breakdown at how ridiculous she was being.
So yeah again for you!!! It's the little things like this that make everything worth while.
