Calorie Countdown - Wednesday edition, what are you eating?

Good morning all. I hope this finds everyone well. I am ok, frustrated with students but trying not to take it personally. Here is my food plan for today:

B - chicken breast and tomatoes

L - homemade chili with turkey, beef, and every vegetable you can think of

D - I'm wanting stew, I must need comfort food. I think I'll make a beef stew if I have time, otherwise we may just go out for Thai - I'd have soup and summer rolls if that were the case

S - 16oz mootopia, 1tsp homemade dark chocolate sauce

I'll try and tally everything up later, and also edit this if I change my plan

- cup of warm milk and chocolate truffle protein powder

S-Yogurt

L- Turkey kilbasa and sour krout (sp?), rice & Veggies

S- apple

D-?
S- string cheese

B - 1 slice toast with peanut butter

S - Chai tea misto

L - cottage cheese and Splenda peaches, 2 turkey sticks

S - ?

D - meatball sandwich for hubby, meatballs with sauce and cheese for me, salad too

S - cheese and fruit

B - 3/4 navel orange
L - mexican casserole and Activia Light yogurt
S - almonds
D - possibly baked turkey (have to see if my cousin still has leftovers at her house)

Looks like a chili day for many today!

B - 3/4 cup fiber one cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk
L - 1 cup homemade chili w/beef & pretzel flips crackers (5)
S - slice of gouda cheese
D - 4 oz pork tenderloin and 1/2 c broccoli
S - 2 oz hickory smoked turkey / 2 oz honey ham

I know the calories are low...but if I stick to this plan, I can't eat more.  I may have some fage yogurt after I get back from school around 3pm

Yeah, I toyed with the idea of chili yesterday too. I think I may doctor up a can of turkey chili by adding more veggies.

B - Nature's Path oatmeal w. flaxseed, splenda, ginder, cinnamon & clove
S - MF scrambled eggs
L - Turkey chili w/ added onion, red pepper & tomatoes
S - MF shake
D - pot roast, broccoli, yam or acorn squash
S - ML pudding

I made chicken and white bean chilli today - yum!!  It is snowing here if you can believe that??!!

B- Egg with cheese
L - White Bean Chili pureed
S- I took a nap and slept through snack
D- Same as Lunch
S - Hot Chocolate Max Protein

If  you can believe this - I thought I would make up some WLS friendly casseroles and freeze them to make things easer on me.  I made one with Low Fat Cream of mushroom soup - I took a taste of the soup (old habits die hard) and an hour later I thought I was going to die.  I was throwing up, shaking, and sweating.  I dumped on LF Cream of Mushroom Soup!!!???  I never want to do that again - oy!!!

Yucko - was that your first dumping episode? I can't imagine it was the carbs or the fat? How much fat or carbs is in it? Was it still condensed at the time?

I dump on fruit. It really irritates me because a lot of people say they don't have problems with fruit and my NUMBER ONE problem is with fruit sugars. And I LOVE FRUIT.  Grrr.

It was my first dumping - at 3 weeks out I was starting to doubt I had surgery.  I am tolerating foods well, liquids, getting all of my protein in and it hit me like a ton of bricks.  It was condensed at the time and it was a small amount - that was what surprised me.  Mixed with milk it has 15 gms of carbs and 1 gm of sugar.  I does not give stats in its condensed form.  I now hate cream soups - LOL!!

I have had some puree fruit with no issues.  I have only had a at the most 2 tbsps.  I love fruit and cant wait to add it back into my diet.

I was bad today. No excuses, but it was a really horrible day.

B:  Lunchables with half the crackers
L:  Cheese filled breadstick
D:  2 pieces of pizza
S:  1 piece of pizza

I threw away the rest of the pizza.  Breakups and weightloss just don't mix!
